When a trip to the local supermarket turns into an all-out mutant battle, Ben Tennyson knows he has a challenge on his hands. Evil Dr. Animo is transforming animals into giant mutants to take over Washington D.C. Can Ben save his city before it's too late...?

Washington B.C. is the second volume in the Ben 10 comic book series from Edmont Publishing. This is certainly a graphic novel that will appeal to younger fans of the animated TV series, although be warned - older viewers may feel that this is a little too immature for them.

The art work is great, but the script is a little too simplistic and almost every scene has to be explained to ensure that even the dimmest of comic readers understands what is going on. This, I felt, was a little too patronising on the whole, not to mention a little annoying.

That said, for Ben 10 fans who are new to comics this will be a welcome addition to their bookshelves.
