When rap mogul C-Note applies for membership to an exclusive golf club, he goes head-to-head with its stuck-up president. But in a legal twist of fate, C-Note finds out he owns part of the 17th hole. With this, his wise-crack entourage and no-nonsense, bone-fide hottie assistant, C-Note turns the place upside-down as he tries to win the respect and a little flavour to the blueblood club...

I have to admit that I was expecting Who's Your Caddy? to be a truly awful movie. It has all the hallmarks of a real stinker but the end result, while not a classic in the making, isn't half bad.

The basic plot revolves around a black rapper called C-Note, and his posse, who wants to join a white middleclass golf club. But of course, the president is a bigot and doesn't want popular music celebrities turning the sleepy club into a hang out for undesirables playing loud music on the course. This is supposedly not about race, as we earlier see them turning down famous faces including Bill Clinton.

But, we later discover that C-Note has another reason for wanting to join the club - other than "sticking it to the man". The memory of his father, who was once a caddy at the same course, has been disrespected by the current management.

The acting, surprisingly isn't bad at all, and the majority of the gags work - even if they are incredibly lowbrow. However, the biggest failing of the movie is the fact that even though it's incredibly short there are still way too many filler scenes that go nowhere and seem to only be included to stretch out the story. Nowhere is this more noticeable than in the night club scene - which just seems to go on and on.

There are no extras, but there are some deleted scenes and outtakes included in the closing credits.

While far from being a thinking person's movie, Who's Your Caddy? is amusing enough as a watch once only affair.
