Join Phineas Flynn and stepbrother Ferb Fletcher as they set out on a zany fun-filled adventure to conquer boredom during their summer holiday. Inspired by the Disney Channel series, play as Phineas or Ferb and help the brothers carry out their bold escapades and frustrate their tell-tale sister Candice. You can even play as their simple-minded pet platypus, Agent P, who leads a double life as a secret agent battling the evil Dr Doofenshmirtz to save the world... Phineas and Ferb allows fans of the animated series to play as their favourite characters in a series of wacky, fun-filled adventures. As Phineas and Ferb, players must build the world's most outrageous roller coaster from their backyard to the city; create a humongous snow ride from a snow cone machine - in the middle of summer; and hop behind the wheel of a monster truck and navigate through a muddy obstacle course. The idea of the game is to sneak around collecting all of the components for your inventions without your sneaky teenage sister, Candace, seeing what you are up to. Once she's on to you she'll tell your mum and put an end to the fun. Along the way, you can use cool gadgets and objects that give you special powers. And once you've collected all the parts to make your roller coaster (or other challenge you are attempting to build) you must complete mini games and puzzles such as welding (where you must trace an image on the screen), puzzle making (where you must fit the pieces of a puzzle together) and connecting two components together by rotating them and finding the two bits that slot together. There are also mini games spread around the main game including wind blaster (blow into the mic to unleash a powerful wave of air to reach certain items) and "You’re so busted!" (where you are are chased around a maze by Candace). The game also features DGamer, Disney’s online community designed exclusively for Disney gamers. DGamer allows players to engage with other Disney game players in an online community via their Nintendo Wi-Fi Connection or online at www.DGamer.com. The service allows users to log into their DS and online accounts to create and customize a unique 3-D avatar and persistent profile. Kids can chat, view user profiles of their DGamer friends, and post high scores to leader boards. There's enough variety here to ensure that it'll be quite some time before you get bored. For Phineas and Ferb fans this is about as close as it gets to playing in your own cartoon. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online |
