T2 is a British garage / bassline / experimental record producer from Leeds. He has been mixing since his teens, building up a catalogue of tunes mixed from his bedroom and began releasing tracks in 2004. In 2007, his single 'Heartbroken', featuring Jodie Aysha, reached number 2 on the UK Singles Chart. In 2008, T2 joined up with Addictive to release 'Gonna Be Mine'. He is also working with artists such as Kelly Rowland, Craig David, Platinum, Kate Nash, J Holiday and many more. ‘Come Over’ is T2’s new single which has everything you would expect coming from T2, energy, originality, house influences, big bass beats and new electro. Trevor Nelson has already been bigging this tune up on both his 1Xtra and Radio 1 shows. Michelle Escoffery’s vocals, on this single, are truly out there and give this single that extra edge which makes it stand out from all of the other club tracks around at the moment. There are four mixes on this single just to make sure that there is something for everyone. The 'Radio Edit' opens straight into the chorus, vocals and guitar which all goes muffled... a pause... then into the heavy beat with new electro melody. I love it, goose bumps every time! A lighter, refreshing intro comes from the 'Club Edit', opening with the guitar riff then added to that is the beat of tribal drums. There is no bass until 2 minutes in and believe me it is worth the wait. It’s new electro being set free. The 'Skye Blue Mix' is crammed full of electro, synth., beat and percussion. The background synth. on this blends well with the vocals which make it a really catchy mix. The 'TRC Bassline Mix' is a fast paced heavyset bass line mix. This track takes you to another realm where getting lost in the beat is the norm. It makes you breathless, your head spins and well, the beat just takes over. This is a banging track that I’m sure will be smashing up the clubs everywhere this year. 9 Helena Rea Buy this item online |
