'Crying Lightning' is the first single taken from Arctic Monkeys's new album Humbug. This release is available as a single downloadable track or as an EP with the tracks 'Red Right Hand' and 'I Haven't Got My Strange', but as these were not included on the promo CD we received for review I can't comment on them.

In addition a vinyl edition is to be made available through Oxfam shops. This will also include a code for buyers to also download a free MP3 version.

To be honest 'Crying Lightning' is another Arctic Monkeys track which sounds very much like any other Arctic Monkeys song. Not that that's a bad thing, it's just if you're expecting anything radically different to what's come before you may be a little disappointed.

Personally I found this to be a great track, but then I'm a fan of their music.
