Julian Perretta comes from North London and at just 20 years of age he is bursting into our lives with his loud and lively debut single, ‘Wonder Why’ which is taken from his forthcoming album Out Of My Head.

Julian and his band have already been touring as special guests to Girls Aloud on their recent 2009 arena and America’s premier pop tastemaker Perez Hilton has tipped them for superstardom.

This is a lively single which opens with the cheeky and fun loving sound of the kazoo and some cool sounding piano chords and melody.

A steady beat opens the song up further and in come Julian’s vocals, which lift the song even more. His vocals have a raw edginess about them, making this single stand out.

‘Wonder Why’ is an upbeat song, which has depth and volume from the beginning right through to end. The guitar riffs slot in easily and nearly unnoticed, as there is just so much going on in this track.

If the album Out Of My Head, released later this year (2009), is as good as ‘Wonder Why’ then I can hardly wait. This is one of the best singles I have heard all year.
