Scored by newcomer Michl Britsch, Pandorum's scary sci-fi/horror plot is accompanied by a melange of ice-cold orchestrations, unsettling electronics and pounding percussion is a very modern, bold and edgy score which combines subtle but unsettling orchestral elements with twisted, distorted and frightening sounds as nightmarish as the film itself... You're either going to absolutely love or loath the soundtrack to Pandorum. Sadly, I fall into the latter camp. I can appreciate what the composer was attempting to evoke with this score, it's just that listened to on its own it's a rather boring experience. Personally, this isn't a soundtrack I'd go out and buy - nor would I listen to it again just for the sake of it. This is an atmospheric... well... noisy affair, to be honest. While I'm sure it seriously enhances the atmosphere of the movie, as a soundtrack to listen to on its own I found it quite tiresome. 2 Darren Rea Buy this item online
