Cameroon Born Kilian Ateh is here with his debut single ‘It’s On’. The West African artist grew up showing strong interest in music from stage dancing at college discos and social events to writing and rapping whilst sitting at his boom box for hours on end.

After mimicking popular songs Kilian soon moved on to doing his own thing. With his expressive verses, brash style and daredevil approach towards music and the industry a likeness can be seen between Kilian and the likes of Lupe Fiasco, Kanye West, and Andre 3000.

‘It’s On’ is a summery midnight jazz and R’n’B sounding track. I love the saxophone played throughout and put together with the dreamy rapping vocals of Kilian this is sure to be a big hit.

'The Chartstalker' mix is upbeat with a cool and sexy beat. With this R’n’B clubbing sound DJs will be spinning this tune late into the night. Get those feet ready for partying on.

The instrumental is just as good as the original version. The use of the saxophone fills the track to prevent it from sounding hollow without the cool vocals of Kilian.

The bonus track ‘Hello’ is heartfelt and the lyrics are deep. This is a guy who is truly rapping from the heart. The beat is cool and the melody crisp.

Kilian Ateh raps from the heart and this comes through in his music. I honestly can’t fault this single and from a debut that is quite a rarity.
