Located in different continents, Animal Collective is an umbrella name used for the grouping of four people: Avey Tare, Panda Bear, Deakin and Geologist.

'Brother Sport', is the third single taken from Animal Collective’s recent album, Merriweather Post Pavillion. This single has only one track on it but is apparently backed with a live version of a brand new track 'Bleeding (Live)'.

Unfortunately I only received the single of 'Brother Sport' so cannot comment on the new live single of 'Bleeding' which is somewhat of a shame.

The intro starts with the lyrics "Open up your, open up your, open up your throat..." which goes onto the melody fading in. It's fast and quite catchy and at one point I thought I was going to enjoy this single.

Then the vocals and pretty cool melody turn in to, as always with Animal Collective, noise. This track ends up sounding like lots of car alarms going off and one big siren takes the lead!

Eventually we dip back to the vocals but even they are now plagued with an annoying repetitive noise of electronica.

Nice try boys, but still not my sort of styling.
