The Metalocalypse looms over us all like a furious python waiting to attack. Like a large expertly wielded hammer ready to pound and crush us all into a rotten bloody paste. But another danger has revealed itself. The ‘Revengencers’ seek to destroy. They crawl from a putrid sludge to force a horrid tempest onto the lives of our beloved Dethklok. And Dethklok is faced with more brutality. The brutality of weight loss, weddings and sobriety - and the brutality of a rock ‘n’ roll clown...

Metalocalypse is an animated comedy series that follows the on and off-stage adventures of Dethklok, the world’s most popular and heaviest metal band - so popular that thousands of fans will travel to a remote area of Scandinavia to hear them perform a jingle for a coffee company.

In season two the band finally start gigging again (after a period of refusing to go out in public for fear they would be murdered; Toki takes guitar lessons; the band's scientists devise a way to record their latest album onto water; they hang out with their band doubles; enter the fashion industry with a new clothing line; have to fight off Rokso the clown; get invited to a wedding; Nathan runs for governor of Florida; Nathan starts dating again; they travel to Norway to visit Toki's dad, who has cancer; and try to suck their own genitalia.

Yes, there's more mayhem, loud music and gore... all of which will have you splitting your sides with laughter. While this is a thoroughly enjoyable show it won't be to everyone's tastes. It's humour of the most ridiculous kind.

The press release we received stated this collection was "loaded with 1 krillion super cool zazz-filled metal dildo features including hidden backstories, music videos, interviews and deleted scenes". Obviously they are hidden away as Easter Eggs, as there was no option on the menu for any extras.
