Set during a tumultuous period of Japanese history, Sengoku BASRA: Samurai Heroes follows players as they fight their way through the dramatic battle of Sekigahara. Players will master the swords and spears of more than 16 fierce samurai warriors in huge battles against hundreds of opponents that will become more and more challenging throughout the game... Sengoku BASRA: Samuraui Heroes is the latest in the BASRA series of games. Yes, it's time for more button mashing mayhem as wave after wave of enemy run you down. While this game is good fun in short bursts, the repetitive nature of the game play soon starts to wear a bit thin. There's only so many times you can mow down an entire field full of men before you start to lose the will to live. And while the various environments and traps add a little freshness to the proceedings, the novelty only lasts for a short period. The special moves almost feel redundant as randomly hitting buttons appears to be far more effective. Sadly this is a pretty short review as there's not much to the game. If mindless button mashing games with hordes of enemies is your thing then you'll be in hog's heaven, otherwise you'll find little of interest here. 3 Nick Smithson Buy this item online |
