One man musician, DJ, club promoter, fashionista and general boy about town is back! On his own record label, Holloway Hit Factory, he is back to release his brand new six track EP Jungle Fever. Of course I am talking about Niyi.

Niyi has been busy, busy, busy since the release of his last single Poached Eggs/I Love You All. Not only has he featured in the October 2009 issue of Clash on a five page spread but has also been running his hugely popular weekly club night 'I Heart Niyi' at Punk in Soho which was attended by the cream of the crop from the fashion and music world. As part of London Fashion Week 'I Heart Niyi' saw Lady Ga Ga perform live and throughout the year Calvin Harris, Little Boots and Golden Silvers have all DJed there.

No longer running his club night in Soho, all is not lost as Niyi has been whipping up a storm on the decks at the likes of last year's Glastonbury, Reading, Offset, Field Day and opening the annual fashion fair Bread and Butter in Barcelona.

'Dirty Dirty Girl' opens this EP with its fast beat and quickstep melody. It's alive with beat and sonic sounds and I love the playful lyrics used throughout.

Slower in tempo 'Bump Back' hits us with its cool stylee, adolescent attitude. It's a catchy number which sees three extra remixes of this track: the 'Raven Remix', 'Dexplicit Remix' and the 'Acapella' version. My favourite of the remixes is the 'Dexplicit Remix' with its racy beat and cool melody mixed with the deep sounding sonic. The 'Acapella' version is a little weird and I don't see the point in this version.

'Jungle Fever' is a mish mash of sound from sonic to soul which all sit well together. I love the crisp vocals and beat. This is a track to get your ears round. Fantastic.

Once again Niyi doesn't disappoint and steps up to the mark with this EP.
