Emerging as one of Spain's most exciting and prolific DJ/producers is David Tort. With a love for classic American house music and a production talent which sees him producing electronic bombs that still maintain an essentially soulful house flavour, his distinct style has been prominent on his large recently played remixes of Gui Boratto 'No Turning Back', Barbara Tucker 'I Get Lifted' and Giordano 'Amazonia' as well as his own chart topping single 'Lost In Acid'.

Tort's latest album, Nervous Nitelife, is a much awaited follow up to the hugely successful Tom Stephan selection.

A busy year for Tort as not only has he been hard at work producing but he's also been DJing and becoming a resident at Miami's premier DJ showcase, Space Miami. There are also plans for other residencies in prominent destinations such as Ibiza and New York. He is also the fist DJ to be sponsored by Nike and the only Spanish DJ to be invited to DJ at the Play Boy Mansion in Beverly Hills.

Consistent throughout this album, Tort has made sure that all 14 of his tracks are filled with electronic dance beats to show his talent off at its best. Below are just a few of the tracks which I thought really stood out.

Jan Solo 'Un Tabaquito Con Ron' Caesar's Scissor Mix, is a frenzy of Latin salsa music mixed with electronic booms and scratches. I love the vibe to this tune it's upbeat and funky.

Winkx 'Don't Laugh' David Tort Remix has a very catchy and quirky laugh running through its entirety. I actually really like this even though a very repetitive tune, I can imagine this being played in the clubs especially at its crescendo.

The beat and acceleration in both MYNC & HCCR & Jose Nunez ' Boogers' Avicii's Dumb Dumb Remix and Jungle Juice 'Egyptian Magician' David Tort Nitelife Edit are stylish, catchy and very middle eastern sounding. I just love how Tort mixes his music up and leads into these big hedonistic crescendo's.

This is an album to get anybody's night going with a bang. These remixes are juicy, meaty and are something to really get your feet moving around on the dance floor to whilst waving those arms in the air, be it with a glow stick or not!
