DJ Deep is known as one of the most untouchable members of the French House scene. He first began Djing about 15 years ago when House music was an underground movement and the French scene was just starting to develop.

As part of the Journey Through Chicago, Detroit and New York’s Secret House Gems, DJ Deep is back with City to City 3, a house compilation of a difference which sees a very personal selection of older and newer tracks that hold a special place in DJ Deep’s heart and record box.

According to DJ Deep: "The idea behind City to City: Volume 3 is to say the spirit of house is still there in many dancers, music lovers and Producer’s hearts."

Whilst this compilation has some good sounds, the copy I received was one long track so unfortunately I was unable to decipher any individual tracks. Let me just say this about the album. It’s a mix and match of hardcore, soft, funky and old skool beats. There are tunes to get your funk onto whilst others will see you in the chill out zone.

What I like about this volume is the fact the tacks are so diverse in their sound that there’s a little something for everyone.
