Clinic are here with their brand new single, ‘I’m Aware’, which is taken from their up and coming album; Bubblegum. Clinic have a punk sound mixed with the light ‘plinky’ sounds of percussion and a bit of rock guitar.

The single comprises of two tracks, ‘I’m Aware’ and ‘Gentle Lady’. ‘I’m Aware’ is a serious, slow yet mesmerizing tune, with gritty vocals and a good melodic chorus. The strings and harmonies in the background give this song depth and feeling.

‘Gentle Lady’ couldn’t be more different; it’s upbeat with a heavy punk scene sound. This is a quirky tune with guitar riffs and vocals to match.

This single is to be released on 7” vinyl and digital formats, you may also be interested to know that ‘Gentle Lady’ will not be appearing on their album, so if you’re a fan of this band you might want to look at buying this single. I actually think ‘Gentle Lady’ is a better song than ‘I’m Aware’.
