Asuma and Shikamaru have to think on their feet as they face the mind-boggling jutsu of the Akatsuki pair Hidan and Kakuzu. This two-disc collection contains another 11 episodes (episodes 78-88) of this animated series which was first released in 2008. The episodes here takes us up to the end of season four.

Disc one contains the episodes The Judgment; Unfulfilled Scream; Last Words; Sad News; Team 10; and Target: Locked On.

Disc two contains the episodes Kakuzu's Abilities; The Terrifying Secret; Shikamaru's Genius; When You Curse Someone, You Dig Your Own Grave; and Wind Style: Rasen Shuriken.

The seventh DVD box sees Hidan reveal that he can link his body to his opponent's after ingesting their blood, making him practically immortal; we discover that Akatsuki plans to use the tailed beasts to cause conflict in the ninja nations; while battling Kakuzu it's discovered that he has five hearts, each of which must be killed in order to defeat him.

Box set 7 represents yet another collection of protracted episodes that see the storylines stretched to breaking point, as we move every slowly from one long battle to the next. However, it's the pure depth that endears the show to millions of fan. This is a show you'll either follow avidly, or just not get at all.
