Philip Miller's score for White Lion will make an interesting addition to any soundtack buff's collection.

Set in Africa it's probably not surprising to learn that here are a few strong cliched African style themes that will instantly transport you into an "African" frame of mind. However, these themes are neatly interwoven into the main score so that it doesn't all sound too much like a Lion King rip-off. They only crop up once in a blue moon and actually add much to the recording.

At its heart this is a strong, beautiful score that you'll want to revisit.
