Producers Coskun Akmeric and Cem Serter are collectively known as Gecko Chamber. Their debut album is to be released this autumn (2011) but in the meantime their single 'Boya-Badana' gives us a taste of what to expect... and if this single is anything to go by I can't wait.

Gecko Chamber are explorers in the genres of minimal and progressive electronic music. 'Boy-Badana' throws you into their signatory sound; into the world of minimal techno which uses layers of heavily processed guitar sounds to create feeling and rhythm while using percussion instruments to develop new melodic tones.

This single reminded me of Orbital's work in the '90s - only without the painfully slow build. It's catchy, chilled out vibe really grows on you - leaving you wanting more.
