Cardinal Jack are a London based Indie/Dance-Rock band made up of University of Hertfordshire Graduate students, Tom Williamson, Mark Kempson and Paul Eaton. When I originally reviewed their debut single 'Green Eyed Boy' I stated that I was looking forward to Cardinal Jack's debut album. Now it's here, the wait was definitely worth it.

There's a definite '80s sound running through this tracks, as well as a wicked sense of humour. My favourite track is the Rock fuelled track 'Don't Dance Right' which has a feel of Cheap Trick about it (when they were actually good). It's a little warped, but is a wonderful feel good track.

For those wanting something modern with a rock based, '80s vibe, then this is the album for you. We Shall Start the Dance has much to recommend it. This is well worth checking out.
