Indie-electro roller 'ThreeCrowns' is the debut single from Graingerboy, aka Simon Grainger. Co-produced by Ian Catt of Saint Etienne fame, the track is taken from Graingerboy's forthcoming album, Shadowformerself which will be released in 2012.

'ThreeCrowns' is based on a lucky escape from the Christchurch earthquake during Graingerboy's 2011 world trip. The track attempts to capture the essence of tragedy using a variety of soundscapes to emulate the physical destruction experienced with the city while using melancholic echoic vocals and riffs to recreate the emotion felt by those who experienced the disaster. The result is a powerful indie track that benefits from repeat listening.
