Of all the Call of Duty games released so far, Black Ops II is the only one where a strategy guide is almost an essential purchase. In previous installments of the game both the campaign and multiplayer options were very much trial by fire and the guides only gave you a slight edge. With Black Ops II the campaign mode has numerous different paths you can take - and various endings and the multiplayer loadouts are more complex so getting help on how best to spend your tokens is incredibly helpful.

There's also some very helpful advice from players on the Call of Duty pro circuit. Their useful tactical advice will help you chose a loadout that's right for you, as well as give you pointers on game modes that you've always avoided because you're not very confident playing them.
