Producers Coskun Akmeric and Cem Serter are collectively known as Gecko Chamber.

The Other Side of Sanity is their debut album, and was supposed to be released in autumn 2011. Whatever the reason for the short delay is irrelevant. This is a chill-out album that is well worth waiting for.

The duo released their debut single, 'Boya-Badana', in October 2011. Gecko Chamber are explorers in the genres of minimal and progressive electronic music. This album showcases their signatory sound; into the world of minimal techno which uses layers of heavily processed guitar sounds to create feeling and rhythm while using percussion instruments to develop new melodic tones.

This album reminded me of Orbital's work in the '90s - only without the painfully slow build. It's catchy, chilled out vibe really grows on you - leaving you wanting more. If you're a fan of chill-out minimal techno, then you'll totally get this.
