Sorcery puts the power in the players’ hands using the PlayStation®Move motion controller to conjure and command powerful magic as they brave the dark world of the Faerie Kingdoms. As a young sorcerer’s apprentice named Finn, it is up to the player to master the arcane arts and fight back the the Nightmare Queen who has broken the ancient pact with mankind and threatens to cover the land in eternal night... Mark Mancina's score for the Playstation 3 game Sorcery is packed to bursting with quality music. There are themes aplenty, covering just about every emotion possible. The album lasts for 59 min, 52 sec and is spread over 28 tracks and not a second of it is wasted. Personal favourites include 'Sorcery' (which sounds like it has an Irish influence - a theme that runs through this album); 'The Nightmare Queen' (an eerie, atmospheric piece); 'Bogey Village'; 'The Banshee's Lair'; 'Ice Shaman Battle'; 'Finn Battles The Nightmare Queen' (easily this album's finest track); and 'Setting Things Right'. This is a beautiful album that contains some fine examples of suspense music, as well as some incredibly beautiful themes. 9 Darren Rea Buy this item online |
