Families are complicated... Especially when Eli, the father, who's about to be 60, is expecting a baby with his new wife. Upon hearing this news, his two grown daughters, Dom, who is trying to adopt, and Justine, who flits from one boyfriend to the next, are shocked. To get closer to Justine, whom he has never gotten along with, Eli has the bright idea of making friends with all of her exes... without her knowledge. But when Justine falls in love again and Eli is about to ruin everything, this family is on the verge of falling apart. Will they all be able to make peace before it's too late...? The soundtrack to The Day I Saw Your Heart contains a number of original artist tracks along with the main score by Nathan Johnson. Johnson's score is quite light and fluffy, and isn't really something I'd want to listen to outside the confines of the movie. However 'Justine & Sami', a piano based theme is interesting, as is 'The Lost Muse'; 'A Final Farewell'; and '9 Months'. Johnson's music makes up 37 min, 20 sec of the full 54 min, 21 sec running time of this album. The other tracks include: 'Out For The Count' - Faux Fix While it's not a score I'd personally buy, I'm sure that fans of the movie will eagerly add this to their collection. 6 Darren Rea |
