Featuring a vibrant and exciting score composed by veteran composer and two time Emmy nominee Joseph Conlan, Tibor Takacs's 3D spectacular Spiders 3D is currently gaining success at various festivals. The soundtrack is filled with tense action music and is a modern hybrid score where orchestral flavours meet attractive electronics and pounding rhythm programming. While the score is modern in style, it also has more majestic, larger-than-life elements that evokes the awe and wonder juxtaposing the sheer terror of the giant monsters in the film... Joseph Conlan's soundtrack for Spiders 3D is an interesting mix of electronic music and conventional orchestral score. The result is a pleasant surprise that is more than a little creepy in places. While it won't be to everyone's tastes, it's certainly worth giving this a listen before you skip over it. What I found particularly interesting was the way it comfortably straddles modern and conventional styles without smashing you over the head with its ingenuity. There's no real main, or recurring themes, what we have instead are atmospheric tracks that add a whole lot more than you'll be expecting. The score contains 20 tracks and lasts for 52 min, 56 sec. 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online |
