thatmanmonkz's debut EP explores Detroit inspired deep house with jazz, disco and soul influences apparent throughout.

Title track 'The Man' echoes classic '90s hip hop in a heavy mid-tempo house chugger; 'Alaf' samples jazz riffs to deliver a funky unforgettable track; 'That Would be Alright' is a soul based track with some fantastic vocals; and 'Dreamin' sounds like a blast from the '80s.

For a debut EP these four tracks are incredibly diverse and I'm really looking forward to hearing an album in the near future.
