The soundtrack to Killing Them Softly is an eclectic album which collects together a rather bizarre mishmash of music styles. One one hand you have the punk-ish 'Heroin' by The Velvet Underground and on the other you have 'Life Is Just a Bowl of Cherries' by Jack Hylton & His Orchestra. Mix into this 'Moon Dance' (a rather odd atmospheric track that wouldn't be out of place in a horror movie) by Carl Stone and 'It’s Only a Paper Moon' (on Ukulele) by Cliff “Ukulele Ike” Edwards and the familiar 'Money (That’s What I Want)' by Barrett Strong and you should know what you're letting yourself in for.
