Defeat your enemies to continue your quest for the magical force you need to prolong your life. The Magic 2014 Expansion adds many hours of new game play. It includes five new playable decks; new campaign levels and five new challenges... Wizards of the Coast has released Magic 2014: Duels of the Planeswalkers - Expansion which adds depth to the latest installment of the wildly popular Duels of the Planeswalkers franchise. This expansion gives players the opportunity to explore new planes, fight new enemies and face new challenges. If you don't own the Magic 2014 Duels of the Planeswalkers game, then you'll need to pick that up first and familiarise yourself with the rules and how the console version of the game works. It's pointless going into here as that was covered in our original review and anyone picking up this expansion should already have a firm grip on how to play the game. New features include: Five new playable decks allowing you to unlock 280 unique cards over multiple battles; New campaign levels that allow you to battle through six new single-player campaign levels, exploring the planes of Ravnica and Kamigawa; And, more importantly, five new challenges. There are also a number of additional unlockable items including new persona portraits, achievements and trophies. While I have to admit I'm not a huge fan of collectable card games, I've always found the Magic console games to be extremely enjoyable - and great value for money. It's good to see that Wizards of the Coast release the original game at such a bargain prize and then, for a little extra cash, are keeping the fans coming back for more by adding additional, quality content. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
