In the fast-paced action thriller Snitch, Dwayne Johnson stars as a father whose teenage son is caught in possession of a package that, unbeknownst to him, contains enough narcotics to warrant a mandatory minimum prison sentence of 10 years. Desperate and determined to rescue his son at all costs, he makes a deal with the U.S. Attorney to work as an undercover informant and infiltrate a drug cartel on a dangerous mission - risking everything, including his family and his own life... Antonio Pinto's score for Snitch is an atmospheric album which obviously works better when accompanying the visuals of the movie. On it's own it's listenable, but there are a few too many tracks that are atmospheric puff. The main exception to this is 'Baseball Move' which opens with a haunting theme which builds. I also loved the rather odd shift in pitch which distorts the music for a brief moment. The album contains 19 tracks and lasts for 1 hr, 03 min, 06 sec. It's interesting and will be welcomed by fans of the movie and lovers of modern scores. 6 Darren Rea Buy this item online |
