Jonathan Goldsmith's score for Take This Waltz took a long time to grow on me. After the first listening, I thought it was a little dull and lifeless - like a boring segment of something The Penguin Cafe Orchestra would have knocked out on an off day. But after numerous listenings, the music's depth seeps into your subconscious and you start to appreciate the beauty of Goldsmith's style.

If you've seen the film then you'll no doubt want to pick this up immediately, however if your a casual score collector then be warned that this is one album that pays to invest some time with. The album lasts for 30 min, 44 sec and contains 12 tracks.
