Accompanied by a stylish soundtrack composed by Chan Kwong Wing and Peter Kam (The Warlords), Peter Chan’s Hong Kong action adventure Dragon tells the story of a martial arts expert who wants to start a new life but is hunted down by a detective and his former master. The composers mix orchestral elements with Asian instrumentation and modern aesthetics, creating an effective and attractive score with coherent thematic ideas at its core... Chan Kwong Wing and Peter Kam's score for Dragon (Wu Xia) is certainly one worth checking out. The album kicks off with an interesting theme 'Blood of the Dragon' and slowly builds. Highlights include the quirky 'Inspector'; the rich 'Sins of the Past'; the adrenaline pumping 'You Have to Die'; and the beautiful 'Infinite Sorrow' and 'Return to Perdition'. The album contains 15 tracks and has a running time of 43 min, 17 sec. It's certainly an album I'd recommend checking out. 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
