For those not content with the hour's worth of music on The Spectacular Now (Original Motion Picture Soundtrack), Lakeshore Records has released an 8 track EP of additional various artist tracks.

It's a bit of a strange mix of musical genres and I can't imagine it appealing to anyone other than serious fans of the film. We kick of with 'Live Fast, Love Hard, Die Young' by Faron Young, an old country themed track, which is followed by the gangster stylings of 'Go Hard' by Kutt the Check. 'Wild Nights' by Snake! Snake! Snake! has an '80s vibe as does 'New Theory' by Washed Out. 'Farming Man' by Tenessee River Crooks is a rock track and the remaining three songs are from from the '60s and '70s.

The album lasts for 30 min, 14 sec and contains 8 tracks.
