For fans of classic '80s rock, Loveless Fascination is like putting on a pair of comfy slippers after a hard days work. You'll instantly been transported back to a time when rock and roll was the music of choice for those wanting something a little more substantial to pop music.

While I was a fan of AOR in the '80s, I was never a Starship fan growing up. Sure, I liked their hits, but I don't ever recall owning any of their albums. The release of this album has made me wonder if there is a mine of quality tracks I'm missing out on - so I'll be tracking down some of their old albums through iTunes.

While all the tracks on this album are great, there are a handful that could easily become classics: 'It's Not The Same As Love', 'How Do You Sleep?'; 'Where Did We Go Wrong?'; 'You Deny Me'; and 'Nothin' Can Keep Me From You'.

What's really surprising about this release is that it's part of label Loud & Proud's mid-price budget range. So there's really no excuse for not picking up this album if you're an old rocker.
