A founding member of the iconic Britpop band Ocean Colour Scene and guitarist for Paul Weller since 1992, the Solihull native has long been regarded as one of Britain's most talented musicians and a part of the country's musical heritage. Steve Cradock releases his latest album Travel Wild - Travel Free... Steve Cradock's latest album is very much a throwback to '60s psychedelia. Nowhere is this more evident than in tracks like 'The Magic Hour' and 'Shark Fin Island' but this is more than just a homage to one of the most interesting music movements. Tracks like 'Doodle Book' and 'Travel Wild-Travel Free' drag the genre kicking and screaming into the 21st century. The album contains 13 tracks and runs for around 38 minutes. It's an interesting release and one I'll be playing for some time to come - and no doubt digging out in the future. 9 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
