Walking Papers are Duff McKagan (Guns N' Roses, Velvet Revolver), Barrett Martin (Screaming Trees, Mad Season), Jeff Angell, and Benjamin Anderson (both of The Missionary Position). The UK release of the band's debut self-titled album differs from the US edition, which was released earlier in the year, with the inclusion of an additional four tracks: 'Already Dead (Kill Room)', 'Two Tickets And A Room (Kill Room)', 'Leave Me In The Dark (Orchestra)' and 'The Whole World's Watching (Moore Theater With Mike Mc Cready)'. In addition there's also an iTunes release with four different extra songs. Those that are looking to pick up this album are going to have a problem getting hold of all the tracks (unless they pick up both the UK and iTunes editions) which may annoy potential fans of the group. This is the sort of marketing exercise I'd have expected from a much more established group, not from a debut release. That aside, Walking Papers is an interesting rock band and while they don't actually bring anything new to the genre, what they do produce is well polished. For me, the stand out track was 'I'll Stick Around' which has a flavour of classic rock about it. The UK edition of the album contains 14 tracks and lasts for approximately 1 hr, 03 mins. 7 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
