MovieScore Media/Kronos Records release the CD edition of Adrian Sieber’s score to Thorsten Klein’s lost-in-the-woods horror Lost Place, in collaboration with Just Temptation who are handling the digital album release. The film tells the story of four teen-aged GPS treasure hunters in search of their well-deserved loot in the Palatinate forest (aka Pfaelzerwald). While hiking in the forest, the group comes across an abandoned US military radio tower station, a sad reminder of the Cold War and the divided Germany. It turns out that station used to be the part of a secret military program with horrible side effects – and now, it’s mysteriously operational once again... Adrian Sieber's score for Lost Place is quite an interesting album. Highlights include 'Camp in the Woods'; the closing segment of 'Faulty Tower'; 'Redroom'; 'Aftermath'; and 'Farewell and Epilogue' In truth, Sieber has produced a collection of original and beautiful tracks which step outside of the usual cliched music you'd associate with the genre. The album contains 18 tracks and lasts for approximately one hour. I could have done without the final four tracks ('Unser Platz' by Prinz Pi; 'The Gate' by Dog Almond; 'Jeden Tag Wochenende' by Sido feat. Bass Sultan Hengzt; and 'We Could Forever' by Bonobo), but you can always skip these if they're not to your liking. 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
