Hailing from Los Angeles, California, Northern American are a brand new indie quartet with obvious City of Angels influences including The Doors and The Byrds.

I have to admit that I was totally surprised by 'Wander' and b-side 'Record Forever'. There was a confidence and energy that shone through that usually only comes with years of experience.

Both tracks are of equal merit and could easily have been released as singles in their own right. 'Wander' is more your typical indie release, while 'Record Forever' is a little more trippy and upbeat.

The band's debt album is expected this summer (2014) and I'm looking forward to hearing it.
