ÜberMood is the debut solo album of Christian Prommer, who for the last two decades has worked with collaborators on most of his previous projects. The album's 16 songs (1 hr, 16 min) are very much a reflection of his musical journey for the past 12 month. The tracks on the album were written and produced all over the world on the many travels that Prommer took to concerts, studio sessions and DJ shows. Improvisation is the main mantra of Prommer's creative process, playing with various instruments, drum machines, sequencers and records. The album visits all of Prommer's musical interests, from classical, jazz, electronic soundscapes, folk and soul-music to deep house music. Personal highlights include The piano based 'Aturo'; the trippy 'Zoo Bretu'; the catchy 'Wonders of the World (feat. Tommy Hien)'; and the catchy 'Waltz'. Prommer proves that he's not just a Jack of all trades - but a master at them too. This is one of those rare albums that matures like a fine wine... and which you'll revisit time and time again for many years to come. 9 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
