Paolo, an Italian who drives a Paris tour bus, has just proposed to his true love, the German stewardess, Greta, when the young French beauty, Cécile pulls up beside his bus on her bicycle - and, in short order, Paolo, following some very bad advice from his friend, Derek, finds himself with a German fiancée, a French “wife”, two Australian children who call him “Papa”, and his life upside-down... Craig Richey provides the score for this German romantic comedy... Craig Richey's score for the romantic comedy Girl on a Bicycle is full of feel-good themes. There are a couple of themes that are woven throughout the tracks, but it's not that noticeable that they are constantly revisited - mainly because they are so light and fluffy. There are a also a handful of upbeat, quirky vocal tracks which are performed by Craig Richey and Kari Kimmel. These add much to the feel good factor of the album, especially the opening light pop track 'It Just Takes a Moment'. The album contains 26 tracks (41 min) and while it is an enjoyable album to put on in the background, the light and fluffy approach means that the score is also instantly forgettable. Still, I enjoyed it a lot and will be revisiting it again in the future. 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
