John Ottman score for Non-Stop, a suspense thriller played out at 40,000 feet in the air, is released through Varèse Sarabande Records. During a transatlantic flight from New York City to London, U.S. Air Marshal Bill Marks receives a series of cryptic text messages demanding that he instruct the airline to transfer $150 million into a numbered account. Until he secures the money, a passenger on his flight will be killed every 20 minutes... John Ottman's score for Non-Stop represents an interesting addition to the action/suspense genre of movie soundtracks. While there's nothing here overly new or exciting, it does exactly what you'd expect from a movie in this genre. The only time Ottman get to slow things down a bit and produce a moving segment of music is in the track 'Epilogue'. The album contains 21 tracks (54 min) and is a worthy, if strictly by-the-book, addition to the action/suspense genre. 6 Darren Rea Buy this item online
