The Correspondents release their debut album, Puppet Loosely Strung. For the last four years the band has toured relentlessly earning themselves Telegraph’s ‘Top Ten Glastonbury Highlights’ two years in a row... Those who have seen The Correspondents live will be surprised that it's taken so long for an album to materialise. Puppet Loosely Strung contains a handful of tracks that have featured regularly on the group's tried and tested set list, including firm fan favourite 'Well Measured Vice', the other half of the album exposes another side of The Correspondents. There's an air of The Last Shadow Puppets running throughout this album. The general musical style is very similar, This is most notable in tracks like 'Give You Better'; 'Alarm Call' and 'Some Nights'. This is an album that you'll like from the very first listen... growing to love the more times you play it. 9 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
