Cavemen follows LA playboy Dean who is fed up with one-night-stands and empty relationships and realizes that he wants something more out of life than just a party. With a little inspiration from his nine-year-old nephew and his best friend Tess, Dean decides to try his hand at finding true love for the first time - which proves to be much more difficult than he thought in modern-day Los Angeles... Probably not surprisingly, given the subject matter of the movie, the soundtrack to Cavemen is peppered with modern soft rock and indie band tracks. Whether you're a fan of the movie, or want a new mix tape of little known bands that you'll soon want to follow, this album is certainly one that you'll be playing this summer (even if We3Kings 'Hottie Boys' is obviously inspired by Psy's 'Gangnam Style'). There are two tracks (4 min), by the movie's composer, which is a shame because I would have loved to have heard a few more tracks from him - it's certainly a million miles away from his music on The Pact. It's an interesting soundtrack, and certainly one I'll be listening to quite a bit over the summer. Track listing: 01 - 'All Day And Through The Night' - Reto 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
