The soundtrack to The Right Kind of Wrong features an original score composed by Rachel Portman along with two songs, 'Sleepwalking', performed by Nick Fowler, and 'It’s No Mistake', performed by Mickey Guyton. Leo Palamino (Ryan Kwanten) is a failed-writer-turned-dishwasher made famous for his many flaws and shortcomings in a blog called 'Why You Suck', a huge Internet success written by his ex-wife. Then Leo meets Colette (Sara Canning), the girl of his dreams... on the day she is marrying the perfect man. And so, the ultimate underdog story begins as Leo, a fearless dreamer, risks all to show Colette and the whole wide world all that is right with a man famous for being wrong... Rachel Portman's score for The Right Kind of Wrong is full of romantic, feel-good music. There's one main theme which is repeated, probably a little too much, throughout the album. This reminded me of Clannad's theme for the '80s TV series Robin of Sherwood - and once I had that in my mind, I couldn't shake it. The album contains 22 tracks (37 min) with the final two tracks being songs by Nick Fowler ('Sleepwalking') and Mickey Guyton ('It's No Mistake'). These are actually really enjoyable songs and work well with the rest of the album. It's an enjoyable, if slightly repetitive score, that fans of the movie will love. 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
