MovieScore Media release Freddy Sheinfeld's score to The Seal of Confession (Secreto de Confesión). The movie tells three interrelated stories focusing on a corrupt senator, a policeman conducting an unorthodox investigation and a journalist seeking justice for the deaths of his parents... Freddy Sheinfeld's score for The Seal of Confession is rich with interesting themes and atmospheric music. The 'Main Title' to this score rattled around my head for a full day... I knew I'd heard something very similar, but couldn't place it. Then it finally clicked. It's not dissimilar to Sue Hewitt's theme for the 1998 TV mini-series Ultraviolet. It's a wonderful theme, and one that is carefully interwoven into the fabric of this score. The album contains 17 tracks (45 min), with personal favourites including: 'Crossroads'; 'Humberto's Theme' (which reminded me of Harry Gregson-Williams music for the console game Call of Duty IV); 'The Mission'; 'Brother vs. Brother' (which revisits the main theme); 'How Much Does Your Soul Cost?'; and 'End Credits'. This is an enjoyable score, and one that's well worth adding to your collection if you're a lover of suspense themes. 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
