Lakeshore Records release John Debney's score for Draft Day. On the day of the NFL Draft, general manager Sonny Weaver (Kevin Costner) has the opportunity to rebuild his team when he trades for the number one pick. He must quickly decide what he's willing to sacrifice in pursuit of perfection as the lines between his personal and professional life become blurred on a life-changing day for a few hundred young men with dreams of playing in the NFL... John Debney has composed a number of scores (most notably Liar Liar; Bruce Almighty; Iron Man 2; Hatfields & McCoys; and The Call. His music for Draft Day is one of his more conventional movie scores. Over the course of this album's 34 tracks (51 min) there are quite a few interesting themes that weave their way through the score. Tracks worthy of note include 'Opening'; 'The Team I Wanted'; 'Ali Finds Note'; and 'Browns Kick Off'. While not an essential purchase, there are enough quality tracks here to make it a score I'd recommend for a bit of laid back, easy listening. 7 Darren Rea Buy this item online
