Bella Union release Horse Thief's debut album Fear In Bliss. On a first listen through, the main impression I got was how they sounded incredibly similar to Talking Heads. In fact one track, 'Human Geographer' could have easily have been taken from an early Talking Heads album. In addition 'Little Dust' reminded me of R.E.M.

It took me a few listens to really appreciate the raw talent on offer here. Highlights include the catch 'Dead Drum' and the mellow 'Warm Regards'. This is certainly an album that gets better the more you hear it, but whether it's an album that you'll still be listening to in a few years, or even months from now is doubtful.

Personally, I enjoyed what was on offer here. It'll certainly keep me entertained for a few more weeks.
