Carnival Flower encompasses elements of gypsy, swing, Latin soul, calypso and dubstep: a movement that their fan base has affectionately dubbed ‘gyp-step’.

The album is an interesting mix of styles, and to be honest there isn't a dull moment in amongst the 11 tracks (42 min, 10 sec). Highlights include the catchy gypsy flavour of 'Tread Softly'; the soul backing band at the heart of 'Neon Lights'; and the raspy vocals on 'Punchlines'.

This is certainly an album worth checking out.
