Lakeshore Records releases Rolfe Kent's score for Gambit. The movie follows an art curator who decides to seek revenge on his abusive boss by conning him into buying a fake Monet, but his plan requires the help of an eccentric and unpredictable Texas rodeo queen... Rolfe Kent's score for Gambit represents an interesting collection of themes, but I think my personal favourite is the sweet segment at the core of 'PJ Gets Personal' which also makes a brief appearance in 'Harry Exposes the Fake'. The album contains 17 tracks (37 min, 25 sec) of these 12 (22 min, 49 sec) are made up of Kent's music, the rest are from various artists. It's by no means an essential purchase, but it's another one of those light and fluffy pieces, like his work on 17 Again and Ghosts of Girlfriends Past.
