MovieScore Media release Elik Álvarez's score to Take Me Out. The movie tells the spirited love story between Andrés and Julissa, both of whom are passionate fans of baseball. Unfortunately their happiness can’t be complete: Andrés roots for Los Leones del Caracas, while Julissa is not only an ardent supporter of Los Navegantes del Magallanes, but is also the team manager’s daughter. When Andrés mistakenly gets tickets to see a game in the Magallanes VIP Zone, he gets enchanted by Julissa, but the rivalry between their teams may lead them down the road of Romeo and Juliet... Elik Álvarez produces a touching score for Take Me Out (Papita, Maní, Tostón in its native Venezuelan). The album contains 16 tracks (32 min, 06 sec). Tracks like 'An Interrupted Kiss' and 'Don't Get Confused' are where this movie's sweet side come out. Then on the other side we have 'My Crazy Father-in-Law', which has a more fun, retro sound (almost '70s cinema in style). To be honest though, this album contains about 85% romantic themes, all very different and all very sweet. From the quirky ('Jersey Swaps'), to the downright beautiful ('Reviving') there are enough interesting themes here to keep you happy. 8 Darren Rea Buy this item online
