Fresh from a recent trip to New Orleans, Peter Andre presents his new sound with brand new studio album Big Night. The album combines elements of big band and soul to present a fresh sound for Andre. Tracks 'Kid' (which was the official song for DreamWorks animated movie Mr Peabody and Sherman) and 'Big Night' have already been released as singles... Big Night is Peter Andre's new studio album. All 11 tracks (36 min, 14 sec) are written by Andre and co-writer Stevie Appleton. It's an interesting new direction for Andre, it's like a watered down classic big band sound - brought up to date for a more modern, younger audience. And, surprisingly, it works incredibly well. The two opening tracks 'Big Night' and 'Kid' start the album with a bang. These are followed by 'Preach', a more laid back track. 'New Orleans' reminded me in style of Michael Jackson's 'The Way You Make Me Feel'. The only track I wasn't overly keen on, 'Little Birdie', reminded me of the 'Little Birdie' song from the Charlie Brown animated cartoon series. Sure, Big Night is sugary, but it's a brave move that pays off well. Andre is growing, maturing with his loyal fan base and that's something that should be applauded. 8 Nick Smithson Buy this item online
